0The forum of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) is a thriving intellectual community that has multiple and vital roles to play in a lawyer’s life as well as for the nation. SCBA is not only a source of benefit for the welfare of its members and families but also acts as a catalyst for legal reform and a guardian of the legal system and independence of the judiciary and the Bar. My vision is to make SCBA a true reflection of our legal community’s expertise and intellect. I want SCBA to be in the vanguard for the promotion and defence of the principles of democracy, rule of law, good governance, social justice and the dignity of all persons. My main objectives shall remain: – (i) Maintenance and defence of the integrity and independence of the Bar and the Judiciary; (ii) Promotion and advancement of Legal Education, Advocacy and Jurisprudence.
